Artist Biography

Renee Good is a multi-media artist- She enjoys creating art with Silversmith jewelry, Beadwork, Fiber Art, and Photography. Renee's artistic creations are inspired by her healing work with gemstones, minerals and symbols.

Renee has been collecting crystals, gemstones and minerals for over 30 years and has learned that the stones often choose you, which explains why they often draw your attention and cry out take me- take me. We are often attracted to the jewelry designs that can help us move forward it our lives. Sometimes it is the color that calls to us, other times the symbol or shape draws our attention. Be aware of that when you go shopping next time.

Renee learned silversmith techniques, lapidary and casting techniques through classes at Moha Community College. She has found that the stone tells you how it wants to be shaped and presented, if you listen carefully. Inner direction is an important component of her artistic process. She enjoys showcasing various minerals, stones and symbols in her jewelry/art work with the goal to stimulate the healing properties of the colors in the stones for the benefit of her customers. She has won awards in several artistic categories at the Annual "Art At The Lake" show in Havasu- Sculpture(gemstone carving), Glass(fusing), Silversmith Jewelry, Beadwork, Wire Wrap and Photography.

Renee sells her designs thru the Havasu Art Center on McCulloch- a local art coop, Art Guild venues and the local Gem show in November. She continues to work & teach in the healing arts.. She loves to express herself in new and different artistic techniques- so you never know what she may add next.
